Hiding a section on mobile devices can be useful when you want to optimize the layout or show different content to mobile users. Here's how to achieve this:

Step 1: Access Your Webflow Project

  1. Log in to your Webflow account.
  2. From your Dashboard, select the project you want to work on.

Step 2: Open the Webflow Designer

  1. Inside your selected project, click on the "Designer" button. This will open the Webflow Designer interface where you can edit your website visually.

Step 3: Select the Section to Hide

  1. On the canvas, locate the section that you want to hide on mobile devices.
  2. Click on the section to select it. You'll see its properties and settings displayed in the right panel.

Step 4: Access Element Settings

  1. In the right panel, scroll down to the "Display" section.
  2. Click on the "Display" section to expand it.

Step 5: Configure Visibility Settings

  1. Within the "Display" section, you'll find options for visibility on different devices: desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  2. To hide the section on mobile devices, click the visibility toggle for the mobile icon. This will deactivate the visibility of the section on mobile devices.

Step 6: Apply Changes

  1. After configuring the visibility settings, click outside the section settings or press Enter. Webflow will automatically save the changes.

Step 7: Preview and Publish

  1. To see your changes in action, click the "Preview" button in the upper right corner. This will open a preview of your website in a new tab.
  2. Test whether the section is correctly hidden on mobile devices.

Step 8: Publish Your Changes

  1. If you're satisfied with your edits, click the "Publish" button located at the top of the Webflow Designer to make your changes live on your website.

Congratulations! You've successfully hidden a section on mobile devices using Webflow. This technique can help you optimize the mobile experience and tailor content for different screen sizes.
